Driving tips

  • For Otaru Canal and Sakaimachi Street, park once in a nearby paid lot and explore on foot.
  • Central Sapporo has many one-way streets. Follow the navigation and check the road signs as well.
  • In winter, snow makes travel much slower and it gets dark early. Plan fewer stops.

Distances are straight lines between stops; actual road distances and times are longer. Check opening hours, closing days and prices on the official sites before you go.
